How much is the Security Deposit and how does it work?

A credit card Pre-Authorization is held at check in as assurance the room will not be damaged. The security hold is released after your check out once our staff has had a chance to clean and inspect the room. Values of the pre-authorizations are $200 for upper or walk out suites, and $500 for Lake House suites.

A pre-authorization is not a charge, but it will appear as a pending transaction on your credit card statement for up to 72 hours after we have released it.

Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs to the unit, the contents of the unit, or the property. If the cost of the damage exceeds the pre-authorized hold, the customer is still liable for the entire replacement/repair value of damaged property. Smoking in the unit during your stay also forfeits the security hold.
