Upon booking, for upper suites and walk out suites a booking deposit equal to the cost of a one night stay at a peak season rate is charged to hold your reservation. A booking deposit of $500 is charged to reserve a Lakehouse suite.
To receive a full refund of your booking deposit we require at least 2 Weeks notice prior to check in for cancellation of a reservation.
If cancelation notice is given between the times of 2 weeks prior to the booking and 48 hours before the booking, the booking deposit can be used as a credit for future stays.
Booking deposits are non-refundable if a customer fails provide 48 hours cancelation notice from the time of check in, or does not show up for the booking.
We do not offer partial refunds if customers decide to depart prior to their booked check out day.
The check in is located right beside Buckeye Centre at our store Buckeye Surf 12 Bolton Street Bobcaygeon, ON. Upon arrival customers should park and proceed to the store to pay for their room and get their key.
You can check in any time after 3:00 pm. If you will arrive after 6pm, please let us know so we can make arrangements to give you access to your room. For late check in please call 855-738-9283. For emergencies after 6pm where customers have not made arrangements for late check in please call the owner Dave (705)738-7147.

A credit card Pre-Authorization is held at check in as assurance the room will not be damaged. The security hold is released after your check out once our staff has had a chance to clean and inspect the room. Values of the pre-authorizations are $200 for upper or walk out suites, and $500 for Lake House suites.
A pre-authorization is not a charge, but it will appear as a pending transaction on your credit card statement for up to 72 hours after we have released it.
Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs to the unit, the contents of the unit, or the property. If the cost of the damage exceeds the pre-authorized hold, the customer is still liable for the entire replacement/repair value of damaged property. Smoking in the unit during your stay also forfeits the security hold.
Upper Riverview and Walkout Riverview Suites:
Each Upper Riverview Suite (4, 6 & 10) have a private balcony overlooking the river, with a patio set. Units 6 and 10 have larger outdoor spaces with BBQ’s. There is a BBQ available for guests staying in Unit 4 located on the lawn below the unit.
Each Walkout Riverview Suite (7, 8, & 9) can enjoy walking out to the water level and being only steps away from the river. Riverview suites have access to 3 barbecues on the waterfront lawn.
All Suites have access to the common patio and lawn furniture on the waterfront lawn. All suites have access to swimming and fishing off the dock, as well as the shared outdoor fireplace.
Guests also have access to a washing machine and dryer which are located in the utility room of the hotel. These machines are coin operated and are to be shared with other guests during your stay.
Lake House Suites:
The Lake House Suites have their own private patios, steps from the river. Each patio is equipped with outdoor dining sets, lounge chairs and a BBQ.
Both suites have access to swimming and fishing off the dock, as well as a sandy beach area and a fire pit shared by the two lake house units.
Each unit is equipped with its own washer and dryer.
Many guests that stay with us bring their boats. We are located on the Big Bob channel that connects downtown Bobcaygeon to pigeon lake. If you have one of our rooms booked, docking space is available for $10 per day or $50 per week.
We are located in a shallow section of the channel that is only navigable with smaller boats. Boats with outboard motors, or boats equipped with inboard/outboard motors that don’t require much draft are suitable to moor at our location.
We are accessible by water via the Trent Severn waterway. If you are trailering your boat there is a nearby boat launch located at 49 Front Street East, Bobcaygeon https://maps.app.goo.gl/gGhsGRnqfZ7yCEA77
Upon arrival we will provide directions to offsite trailer parking, this parking is included in the daily boat docking charge.
Please let us know that you plan on bringing your boat at the time of booking. This way we can ensure there will be enough dock space.

Buckeye Centre is proud to be pet friendly. However, pets mean extra cleaning will be required between occupancies. There is an additional $20 charge per stay in the Upper and Walk out River View suites and $50 per stay in the Lake house suites for guests bringing their pets. We ask that pets be on a leash while walking the property, guests clean up after their pets, and pets are not left alone in the rooms while you are not on the property.
We also ask you to use your own discretion when planning to bring your pet. Keep in mind you will be sharing the property with other guests during your stay. If you know that your pet is not good with other animals, people, or children we respectfully ask that you do not bring them along during your stay.
Towels, facecloths and linens are provided with each unit.
Buckeye Centre does not offer daily room keeping services, or turndown services. If you are staying with us for a time period of beyond one week you can request to have your sheets and bedding changed part way through your stay.
We will provide fresh towels, facecloths, and linens upon request. Requests can be made at our store next to the motel.
Guests staying in unit 4,6,7,8, and 9 are also able to access our washer and dryer in the utility room of the hotel. These machines are coin operated and shared with the other guests during your stay.
Unit 10, and Lake House Suites A and B have their own washer and dryer to use during their stay.
